• I spent each summer guiding high school students through introductory organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and material science through the lens of polymer synthesis and rheology

• As a graduate student mentor in the STEM Ambassadors Program, I mentored small groups of undergraduate students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst to acquire research, academic, as well as social skills as STEM majors.

• I guided Viktor through his own project harnessing photoinduced electron transfer reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer (PET–RAFT) polymerization and photoiniferter mediated polymerization to encapsulate and culture cancer cells in tissue mimicking hydrogels
