Chemical engineer exploring the science of polymers

Hi! Thanks for visiting my site. I'm Adrian, a chemical engineering doctoral candidate studying novel thermosetting materials.

I'm currently wrapping up my dissertation and exploring the job market, ideally looking to do a postdoc and then apply for faculty positions.

I have a wide range of interests in related to polymer science:

Mechano-
chemistry

Using polymers to transduce mechanical force to drive a variety of useful transformations.

Controlled
polymerizations

Preparing polymers with consistent lengths and end functionality.

Polymer
architecture

Combining different polymerization techniques to design custom architectures with interesting properties.

I'm passionate about polymer science, and have several other interests relating to my core research experience, for example:

  • The intersection of vitrimers and polymer architecture
  • The intersection of mechanocatalysis and vitrimers
  • Designing gels for capture and on-demand release of small molecules
  • And a lot more!

Check back from time to time, I'll be sure to have something new to share.
